Path of the Ipês
Capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, also known as Cidade Morena, Campo Grande is the gateway to (all) the state’s tourist destinations. With a population of more than 885 thousand inhabitants, it offers quality basic and tourist infrastructure, in addition to having attractions capable of satisfying and delighting the most diverse demands and expectations.
With a great vocation for Event Tourism, the city has a tradition of holding agricultural exhibitions, agribusiness fairs, auctions and congresses. It has an international airport, regional airfields, bus station (interstate and international), high-quality hotels, restaurants with a wide variety of regional and international dishes, shopping centers and highly diversified commerce.
In addition to business tourism and events, the city has a good variety of tourist products, mainly in the rural, cultural, gastronomic and ecological tourism segments. It is located in the Caminho dos Ipês tourist region, in accordance with the MS Tourism Regionalization Program.
Campo Grande is a city with wide streets and avenues and is considered one of the most wooded capitals in the country. The pleasant climate and the Cerrado biome that surrounds us provide closer contact between nature and urban space, making the city inhabited by countless species of birds (more than 300 species). Throughout the city, the population and its visitors live harmoniously with macaws and toucans, as well as several species of mammals, such as capybaras and coatis that live freely in the various urban parks.
